Seven nights of effortless luxury, ocean air, and page‑turning leisure.
No schedules, no demands—just sun‑kissed connection in Thailand’s most serene cove.
Spend a week immersed in a luxurious environment where every need is handled and every detail is curated just for you. Our retreat offers a sanctuary for women who cherish the adventure of travel, the delight of exquisite meals, and the comfort of genuine connection. And while it's a "reader's retreat", don't worry--nobody cares if you read a single page. :)
From airport pickup to mango‑sticky‑rice breakfasts, from fresh towels by the pool to deep connection with nature—you can melt into the feeling of freedom as zero demands land on your to‑do list. This week is crafted for book‑loving, connection-loving women, femmes, and non‑binary friends who crave adventure with a side of safety‑in‑numbers. Dip into sunrise meditation (or sleep in). Join us for morning yoga (or not), roam the night market (or stay home!), sail to Phi Phi Island (or stay villa‑side with novels and naps).
The beauty of this retreat is choice. We offer, you choose. No bosses, no family obligations, no forced “transformation”; just radical freedom and choice in a nine‑suite hilltop villa with a private Thai chef.
Travel solo yet never alone: daily optional activities and shared meals spark genuine friendship on your terms.

“We must believe we are worthy of rest. We don’t have to earn it. It is our birthright. It is one of our most ancient and primal needs.” ~Tricia Hersey, Rest Is Resistance: A Manifesto
A Typical Day in Paradise
Wake up and choose your own rhythm—linger in bed or join sunrise breath‑work and meditation on the deck. Drift to the open‑air dining pavilion for a chef‑prepared breakfast of tropical fruit, fresh pastries, and rich Thai coffee while you ponder the day ahead. Late morning is wide‑open: claim a poolside lounger with your novel, schedule an in‑villa massage, or wander to Kamala’s village market for a coconut.
Mid‑day, hop on the optional group excursion to kayak in the Gulf of Thailand, or mosey on down to Kamala Beach for another massage (that's right - you get to have two in one day because it's your vacation!). Or you might just decide to stay put and dip between infinity‑pool swims and the villa’s library nook.
As the sun slips sea‑ward, maybe you desire a nap in the shade at golden hour, a trip to town for some shopping, or to get ready for a wild night out in Patong (the red light district to end all red light districts).
Twilight brings an invitation (never an obligation) to gather for our evening connection circle, followed by a family‑style Thai feast of green curry, tamarind prawns, and mango sticky rice.
End the night your way: stargazing on the terrace, soaking in your jacuzzi, or turning pages until sleep calls.

"The doors to the world of the wild Self are
few but precious.
If you have a deep scar, that is a door,
if you have an old, old story, that is a door.
If you love the sky and the water
so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door.
If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life,

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the balance due? 45 days before the start of the retreat. P.S. we offer payment plans!
Is the deposit refundable? Deposits are non‑refundable but transferable to a future retreat if you cancel. If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund.
I’m coming solo—will I feel out of place? Not at all! We expect over half our guests to be solo travelers; the vibe is being in community, with ample alone‑time.
Is the Villa accessible? The villa has multiple staircases and may not suit mobility‑limited travelers.
What about travel visas & vaccines? We can't offer health or legal advice, however I can provide my personal experience. Visas were not required to enter Thailand any of the times I visited (as long as I stayed less than 60 days). We recommend you review your country's international travel guidelines. For U.S. guests, those can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Thailand.html
Is there a specific book we are reading? There is no specific group book, and you don't even have to read at all (everything on this retreat is optional).
What's a “Group Circle”, and do I have to do it? An optional way to connect with others on the retreat, to chat about our experiences, to maybe get deep, to maybe laugh until we pee. You can join every night, only a couple, or none.
Are Trump supporters welcome? This retreat's values are rooted in respect, care, truth, safety, honesty, and community. So no, this is probably not the right retreat for the MAGA woman.
Will you do more retreats like this in the future? Yes. We are scouting out locations such as Bali, Greece, Croatia, Costa Rica, and more!
